A New President and Reconstruction

We are moving on after the Lincoln Assassination and on to some major changes in plans for Reconstruction. The new President, Andrew Johnson takes over and immediately a conflict arises between his leadership and the leadership in Congress. Johnson allows for Southern States to rejoin the Union and elect new representatives to send to Washington DC.

To the North's shock these newly elected representatives are almost all former leaders of the Old Confederacy. Northern representatives kick out these new Southerners and the battle begins.

Who will win this fight?? President Johnson or the Northerners in Congress!
